Interview

Is There a Message in Your Novel That You Want Readers to Grasp?

Can you chose your own destiny or path? Or does fate decide it for you?

Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?

Sometimes I find it challenging to fill in the spaces between the main plot gaps. When this happens, I just work on something else until an idea comes.

How many books have you written and which is your favorite?

I have written and published 3 books. My favorite book, is the one I am currently working on, Sonar The Surge. It is the 3rd book in The Sonar Series. This novel is the darkest in the series and I like that it pushes my limits.

If You had the chance to cast your main character from Hollywood today, who would you pick and why?

Chris Helmsworth could play Kadeem Alexzander. Jessica Alba could play Syira Romeland. Both of those Hollywood characters have similar features of my characters.

When did you begin writing?

I began writing when I was fifteen years old.

How long did it take to complete your first book?

The first book that I wrote took me one and a half years to write. The first book I published took around three years to write.

Did you have an author who inspired you to become a writer?

Growing up, I read authors like VC Andrews and Stephen King. But I’ve always loved to write.

What is your favorite part of the writing process?

I love developing hot steamy relationships for my characters. But I think my favorite part of the writing process is connecting different elements of the story together.

Describe your latest book in 4 words.

Premonition, Smoldering, Deceit, Fate

Can you share a little bit about your current work or what is in the future for your writing?

Sonar The Cyclone, the book featured in this tour is Sci-fi, Romance, and Space Opera. This 2nd novel in the Sonar Series explores more of the Sonar galaxy. The past comes back haunt them tenfold. Also one of the characters finds out a devastating secret.
Premonition is a topic that like, and is a main point in this novel. These characters take an epic journey. They have to decide if fate is in the hands of what they behold.

B Truly has wanted to be an author since she was fifteen years old and grateful to have accomplished this dream.  She has very vivid dreams and a wild imagination. She likes to read, watch tons of TV shows, and movies. She is addicted to romance and gets a thrill out of action and suspense. She writes New Adult, Fantasy, Sci-fi, and Paranormal-Romance.

In the Sonar series, B Truly said "it was fun to explore different elements of Sci-fi romance and create various realms of powers for my characters. I want to show my readers that Sci-fi can be fun, but also traumatic. I hope you guys enjoy the Sonar Series."
B Truly has three wonderful children and a husband who defines the person she is today. She works full-time as an Ultrasound technologist in Sugarland, Texas.
