Sequel to Matt Archer: Monster Hunter

When Matt Archer was fourteen, he discovered monsters are real. As if that wasn’t enough to go on for a few decades, Matt also found out that he’d been chosen to hunt those monsters–with a sentient, supernatural knife. With disappearances mounting in Afghanistan, it's up to Matt to stop this new threat before it's too late.
MY REVIEW:
Blade's Edge is a sequel, so make sure to pick up Book #1 first.
Kendra C. Highley has done something that many authors fail to do and that is to make the sequel even better than the first. It's rare that we fall in love with characters in Book #1 and feel even more connected with them by Book #2.
The action was definitely turned up a notch. While book one could be geared towards a younger audience, this one is a bit older. There was a lot of dakrness, and I loved the way that Kendra still managed to make it light-hearted and add in some typical teenager stuff.
It is so fun to watch Matt Archer GROW in this series!
