Blog Tour: Shadow of the Blood Moon

YA Paranormal
(Sequel to Ties to the Blood Moon)

Genevieve Labreck is back with a score to settle. Her mom has been kidnapped by Zane, hybrid and
all-around monster. Rumors fly that Gen’s mom is holed away in Prague, a city recognized by humans
for its serene beauty and intense culture, but Gen and Will know something humans don’t. Prague is
haunted by dark, evil forces.
Can Gen and Will save her mom, or will they be too late?
Some will live, others will fall. At what price do you walk away from those you love?

My Rating: 3.5*'s

My Review:
I really enjoyed the world that Robin P. Waldrop created in Ties to the Blood Moon. Here is a little catch up for you. Gen is just a typical teenager who has been dealt a not so great hand in life. Moving to a new place and starting a new school is not always easy. She feels like an outcast but luckily makes a new friend in Luna. Luna happens to be a twin and so she get a 2 in one deal with Luna and Joseph. Aside from Luna and Joseph and their older brothers, Gen meets William who she has an instant connection to and an odd reaction whenver he is in the vicinity.

I really love the conncetion that Gen and William have and everything that has gotten them to the point they are at in this book. William starts to act even more sketchy in this book. He confused the crap out of me at points.

Gen is now not only the Werewolf Adlet Princess but also a hybrid ever since William turned her into a vampire. She has to learn to deal with the ramifications of that decision, which end up being larger than she could have ever imagined. Now a target for the leaders of the Vampires, she finds herself on the run while trying to rescue her mother at the same time. The suspense and mystery in this story were great, definitely had me turning the pages.

The Love Triangle aspect is not really as pronounced as most and I don't really even feel the connection between Joseph and Gen besides the friends thing. I know he has feelings for her and everything but at times I wonder why she puts so much stock in his feelings. Just my view.
